COURSE WORK SET BRIEF
Making a Film intro
As students of AS-level media studies, we are supposed to make a film intro that is no longer or shorter than 2 minutes and 30 seconds. The introduction must consist of an enigma (a form of a teaser) at the end to grab the viewer's attention as well as a sequenced storyline that must be based on a genre. it can vary from person to person to decide which genre they want to film with (could be horror, drama, fantasy, etc), and they can also plan to film in groups.
TITLE SEQUENCE (opening sequence)
Is basically the prelude to the movie. it engages the audience by hinting at what is about to start, setting the tone of the movie. The intro consists of two important elements: a title card or movie name (which is usually shown for less than 12 seconds) and the opening credits presenting the production team and cast members etc.

The purpose of a title sequence is to credit the principal cast, crew, production company, etc. Some movies may skip the title sequence altogether for e.g black panther.
